Copenhagen | Our airbnb, quick visit to my aunt and dinner at Kiin Kiin Bao Bao

Copenhagen! What a wonderful weekend we've had. Very very sad to be back, haha.We left work early on Thursday to go to Stansted Airport. Our flight was delayed and the wing we were in (where most Ryanair flights depart from) was the most disorganised and confusing thing ever.

We landed in Copenhagen quite late and got to our airbnb in Hvidovre (just outside of Copenhagen) at midnight.

We met our airbnb host and he showed us around our humble abode.

We stayed in their basement which they've converted into a clever little studio. Although quite damp with that typical basement smell, we had everything we needed and also got access to the main house kitchen.

The next morning we woke up refreshed and were very surprised it was sunny!

We went to the train station, got some snacks and got on a train to Vordingborg and my auntie Hoa.

We checked out her new house which has this view..

whilst she made us a wonderful lunch!

YUM! We spent another couple of hours there before taking the train back to Copenhagen and wandered to Vesterbro and Kiin Kiin Bao Bao. I'd done some research on restaurants and Kiin had amazing reviews and awards for best restaurant etc.

The interior. Oh boy.

Absolutely loved all of it! The gold plates, candle holders, lights, cutlery, plants.. everything was perfect

The restaurant does asian tapas and you simply fill in what you want to eat!

Me and Alana shared 5 small dishes including 3 different bao buns.

Both me and Alana would highly recommend Kiin Kiin Bao Bao. It was affordable (for a nice place like this) and we were both stuffed by the end of our meal. We were meant to go out that night but all the travel and food that day made us want to stay in.. so we did!

Day 2 coming up soon :)
