Lost in the jungle
Last week I met up with the wonderful photographer Allison Stoddard and shot some absolutely amazing photos. She reached out on social media and we decided to shoot at the conservatory in Barbican.
It was super humid inside the conservatory but I think it gave me a nice glow in the pictures (it's basically sweat, but whatever)
I love meeting up with photographers like Allison. I have to completely step out of my comfort zone but with photographers like her it's easy. She was so lovely and didn't mind telling me how to pose or where to look, haha. I'm still new to this "modelling" thing but really enjoy it and love seeing the outcome. Every photographer has their own style on how they shoot, direct and later edit.
The conservatory was the perfect place to shoot as we had lots of different options for backdrops and backgrounds. This is the cactus room which was probably my fave place to be in. I find cactuses fascinating, haha. I don't understand how they survive on minimal water and are still so green and beautiful.
Below is my absolute favourite picture from the shoot. I look calm and almost at peace (which is rare since I struggle a lot with anxiety, hah!), the sun is shining and I'm surrounded by big beautiful leaves. The picture would go so well next to a poster I got a few weeks ago that I have yet to show!
Hope you like the pictures as much as I do! <3 Thank you Allison for giving me this opportunity.
