February favourites

I've thought about doing monthly favourites for a long time and here we are! This month is mostly about my current favourite products for my face including two new highlighters, serum and lipsticks.

Sephora wonderful cushion: I was introduced to this product by a makeup artist at Sephora in Dubai mall. I've since then used it pretty much daily either underneath my foundation on my cheekbones or on top. I dap it on with the little cushion and blend it out with a damp beauty blender.

Sally Hansen nail polish: This nail strengthener is absolutely amazing. I use it either on its own or as a base underneath another polish and it's made my nails stronger.

3INA chubby lipsticks: These chubby pencils are moisturising, gives a lovely colour and lasts for a long time on the lips!

Rimmel Insta Fix & Matte: Hands down the best powder I have ever tried. I've stopped powdering my entire face (will write an updated skincare post soon) so I only swoop this across my t-zone with a brush and beauty blender under my eyes.

Jane Iredale Dream highlighter: This little trio is another highlighter I use daily. I use the lightest shade under my brows and inner corners and the middle peachy shade on my cheek bones. If I want an extra pop I use the last gold shade too. A very smooth and soft highlighter without glitter that is perfect for glowy daytime looks!

Sephora beauty amplifier: This is my first ever silicone based primer and I really really like it. It smoothes out my skin and is beautiful underneath foundation. Not sure why I haven't used one before?!

Retinol reface: I'm in my late twenties so taking care of my skin is vital to me. This moisturising cream contains three types of retinol that work to reduce the look of fine lines and wrinkles and also enhances collagen production and reduces acne scars (which I have!). This little beauty contains everything I want in a daily moisturiser!

Sephora glow foundation: A light to medium coverage foundation with a dewy finish - love!! It comes in lots of different shades and I was matched, once again, at Sephora in Dubai mall (WHERE IS SEPHORA IN LONDON?!). I use this daily with a damp beauty blender for a light coverage daytime look and add a little bit extra in the evenings or if I have spots.

Now lastly, my favourite clothing item of the month. I attended an event at Searcys inside the Gherkin two weeks ago and got to wear this absolutely beautiful dress by Jarlo. I literally felt like a princess in it. The model of the dress is called Diamond and it has a low back, cowl neck front and is midi in the front and maxi at the back (probably only on me as I'm petite...). It's a type of style and colour I normally wouldn't look at but I was immediately drawn to it and I'm so happy I got to wear it!

I added some loose waves in my hair, standard night-out makeup and wore the dress with gold heels from Missguided.
