Dinner at Lil Frankies', dessert at The Juicy Spot and cocktail at The Blind Barbers

Oh what a perfect evening in NYC. Ariel took us to Lil Frankie's, a affordable, cash only italian restaurant in East Village. It is a sibling to Franks, Sauce and Supper. We arrived and our waiter took us to our table in a dark lit, loud restaurant. DSC06262 copy DSC06263 copyDSC06273 copyThey serve pretty classic italian dishes. We ordered bruschetta, kale caesar salad and and a pizza to share.DSC06265 copy DSC06266 copy Katie <3DSC06268 copy Ariel <3 and meDSC06272 copy DSC06275 copy DSC06276 copy DSC06279 copy DSC06282 copy The food was absolutely amazing and I can see why every single seat was taken. After dinner Cameron who joined us during dinner recommended the Juicy Spot for dessert. Cringy name but we trusted him!DSC06295 copyDSC06283 copy I ordered a Cookie Butter ice cream..  This particular ice cream is usually known as stir-fried ice cream and was first popularised in Thailand. Juicy spot debuted the first cafe back in July 2015 and well, they've done good.DSC06286 copyThey make the ice cream rolls in front of you. From scratch. Literally.DSC06288 copy Roll it up!DSC06289 copy DSC06291 copy Look at that beauty!!DSC06293 copy Team!DSC06298 copyAfter our extremely filling ice cream we decided to finish our evening at the Blind Barber, a barber shop with a hidden bar at the back. We found a quiet room and spent the next hour or so chatting away. It gets super super busy so go in the early evening or reserve a table to get seats. The music was a mix between old school hip hop and house!
