Date night at Roka
I haven't seen my dear bf much lately and have been super moody about it - as most sensitive emotional females would be - so was ecstatic when he said he'd booked a table at Roka in Aldwych for Sunday evening. He took me to Roka in Canary Wharf on my birthday back in December and we both loved the food, service and interior. After a lazy day I got ready, curled my hair and jumped into an old tshirt dress paired with black heels and leather jacket. We ordered their weekend brunch which I highly recommend! £39 for a bellini on arrival, 10 sharing starters, a main each and sharing dessert. Pictures below :)The food was absolutely stunning and we were both quite surprised over how much food we got! The dessert platter was beautifully made and did you see the chocolate buddha?! He tasted as good as he looked. I don't necessarily think it's vital with date nights at fancy restaurants but boy it's fun to dress up and feel like you've just started dating. We've been together for nearly 4 years now and I don't ever want to feel like I don't want to go on a date or dress to impress :) As I mentioned earlier, my tshirt dress is old, heels from new look, leather jacket from all saints and my dope clutch bag is made by my dear friend Karla.
