Catching flights and trains - London to Gothenburg

After work yesterday I went straight to Victoria station and Gatwick express. I find the train slightly overpriced but the amount of time I save makes it worth it. As soon as I got to Gatwick airport I checked in as I wasn't able to do so online, went through the security checks and bought a light dinner at Pret. Boarding! My flight to Gothenburg took no time as the wifi they provide kept me occupied with Netflix :) I arrived late at night and my lovely godmother picked me up from the airport. We had a light snack at her apartment and went to bed. This morning I woke up, walked outside the guest room and saw this: I've been to their apartment several times but I am still amazed by it. The configuration of the apartment, interior, light.. everything is just perfect! We made breakfast, coffee and tea and talked for a while before I had to jet off again. One thing we discussed before I left was beds and mattresses. I explained that my absolutely best nights of sleep have been at hotels in various places where it's like I'm sleeping on a cloud. Do you know what I mean? She explained that for petite people like myself and her, we need super soft beds and mattresses as we will otherwise only lie on top of the surface. And it makes total sense. I am currently sleeping on my stomach and I know it's bad for you, but if I sleep on my back I ache like crazy in the morning. Next investment: cloud soft mattress.Lina was super kind and dropped me off at the train station. I ran to the shop to buy water and a kanelbulle (cinnamon bun)(super important) and then boarded my train to Karlstad, my hometown.Nom nom.
