My weekend in pictures - with visitors from LA!
I've had the most wonderful weekend ever! I swear! Let's have a little look: On friday after work I met up with this babe and her husband who's on their honeymoon!
I've missed Katie like crazy and was so sad I missed their wedding, but the fact that they planned a quick weekend in London between destinations in their honeymoon is just amazing. So grateful! After our brief catch up it was time for dinner in Soho with my bf and Tom. I took them to my fave place, Le Relais De Venise, and I'm happy (and relieved) to report that they really enjoyed the food.
After dinner we popped over to Dean Street Townhouse for an early night cap.
BESTIEEE The next morning I woke up refreshed and moved room within my house. The struggle was very real.
And the struggle got worse..
Oh well. I ignored that and got ready to meet K&G again, this time in Shoreditch.
(pic from Katie) I introduced them to boxpark
Wore a skirt from Zara and old top from Pull&Bear
We shared a delicious pizza at Block
How perfect are they?!
We then walked for about 1 minute to Urban Food Fest where K bought cupcakes from this vegan place
We found a good spot to sit and played jenga!
And we were pretty damn good at it!
Later Emelie and Mikaela joined us :) So happy I was able to introduce them to my swedes.
The clouds turned very dark so we thought "more food more drinks but inside?" yes yes.
We had a delicious meal and cocktails (x1000) at Dirty Bones near Shoreditch High Street Station, it's quickly become a fave spot of mine!
Cheeseburger dumplings, mac'n'cheese balls, fries etc. nom nom Around this time we also started to get messages about another terror attack and we are SO thankful we are all safe.
Tipsy ladies ignoring terror - spread love instead!
Cheers! Skål! We stayed until closing and then danced till early hours at Cornershop nearby. What a night. The next morning (we're now on Sunday if you're wondering) we had brunch at Hoxton Grill. The service was incredibly slow but the food was yum as usual. Hopefully they were just understaffed or something, just sucks when service is bad.
The whole gang. After brunch we said bye to G, Mikaela and Emelie and went to Waterloo to enjoy the cloudy views of London.
We had pimms at this little pop up bar called Beany.
Every now and again we'd stop to take a pic (thanks to IG-husband Greg) and omg I miss her already
In the evening we ordered thai/chinese to their airbnb and watched the VERY emotional Manchester concert Ariana Grande put together. Holy moses we cried like babies.
G came to pick me up and we cried like babies again saying goodbye. Instead of bolting out the door like I did in New York last year (haha) we hugged and cried and promised to see each other very soon <3
Thanks Katie and Greg for letting me third-wheel your honeymoon - y'all are the best and I'm so happy to have you as friends.
