A sunny day in Rio
The prettiest pool
I then got ready and we decided to explore the beach side of Rio!
Wearing the prettiest playsuit from Oh My Love
The walk to the beach took less than 10 minutes! Woop!
On the left side of Ipanema we walked/climbed up Pedra do Arpoador
The most amazing view!
We then walked further along the beach and ended up at Praia de Copacabana, the very famous beach!
We had meat filled pastries and fresh juice per usual
After our snack we decided to check out Forte De Copacabana - a military base that was built in 1914. It is still a military base but also home of the Army Historical Museum.
On the very edge of the fort are two armoured cupolas holding each a pair of cannons that could fire up to a distance of about 23 km (14 miles) :')
Look at that view!
When we got home the sun was already setting behind us - only downside with Rio in late April, the sun sets behind the mountains.
I popped some more layers on and we headed out for dinner
Because it was dark and we were advised by EVERYONE not to walk around too much at night, we popped into one of the first restaurants we saw: Yosuki.
A super cool portable charger than all restaurants should have. I just had to document it.
Miso soup and lots of sushi!
The restaurant was very affordable and super delicious! I'd definitely recommend going here if you're in the area. Yum.
