Sarona - A middle eastern feast!

I've recently moved from our office in Clerkenwell to Shoreditch, but I used to walk past this place for 2 months and thought it looked like a really nice place - the decor is simple and understated, but has lovely little details.

Sarona is a pretty casual restaurant with food inspired by street food in Tel Aviv and the beautiful Middle East. Having lived in the Middle East I miss the big sharing plates and cuisine!

I brought G with me and it's safe to say that I was very very excited.

Above is just a little taster of what me and G got to experience at this lovely dinner. The most colourful sharing platters of both vegetarian and meat dishes finished with tahini ice cream, brownie and panna cotta with date syrup (not pictures as everyone literally dove in!).

This is hands down my favourite way to eat. I find menu's overwhelming and want to try everything at once so sharing platters is the way to my heart.

You can find Sarona on 27 Clerkenwell Road.
